Produced by Lo Greco bros (SoulStance / Quintetto Lo Greco) together with Nick Recordkicks MILANO JAZZ-DANCE COMBO is a new project heavily inspired by the great UK Jazz-Dance scene of the early 80s and all the truly dancefloor jazz movements of the past 3 decades. Gianni & Enzo LoGreco (aka Lo Greco bros) are prominent figures of Milano's new jazz scene. As SoulStance and Quintetto Lo Greco they've released 5 albums on Schema Records, they're Gerardo Frisina producers, worked with Nicola Conte, Rosalia De Souza, produced Mario Biondi's smash single “This is what you are” as well as collaborated with international acts like Jobim and Lalo Shifrin. For this new project Gianni&Enzo brought together in their Milan studio, located in the fancy ISOLA neighborhood 50mt from the legendary Blue Note club, some of the best musicians from the city's jazz scene. The combo also features on vocals some truly talents of today’s funk&soul scene like COLONEL RED (Bugz in The Attik / Flowriders), DIONNE CHARLES (Baby Charles), ALICE RICCIARDI (Nicola Conte), ROXIE RAY (Dojo Cuts), KATHERINE RUESTOW (The Diplomettes) and FELIX. Expect a hot, fast and furious jazz-dance madness, full of rhythm, horns, percussions and groove.

A pair of Italian brothers influenced by be bop - latin and brazilian jazz as well as retro library soundtracks, Enzo and Gianni have been playing extensively in the last 20 years, receiving attentions and success primarily due to the originality of their dancefloor jazz, funk, latin and brazilian meltin pot. Enzo plays bass, all kinds of fretless bass. The innumerous collaborations with jazz and fusion band live and in studio have contributed greatly to shape his personal direction in the search for new musical standards he is constantly seeking. Gianni plays drums & percussion, his primary characteristic is an excellent technique of execution which added to a great creativity make of him an important reference for other artists in Italy and beyond. Their experience has grown extensively through the years forming their tastes and desire for creation of specific sonorities that finds a meeting point with today’s new technology. At the end of the 90s they met Luciano Cantone, label manager and renowned producer of Schema Records. The collaboration between Luciano and Lo Greco brothers gave birth to SoulStance. The welcomed outcome was “En Route” their debut album for Schema Records in 1998, followed by "Act on", "Life size (2003)" and "Lead the way (2006)". Enzo & Gianni fast became main charaters in the developing of the ever evolving jazzy sound of Schema producing 3 albums for Gerardo Frisina as well as working with Nicola Conte, Rosalia de Souza amongs the others and releasing 2 straight / modal jazz albums as Quintetto Lo Greco.
