Nick runs Milano’s funk & soul label and music publishing Record Kicks. The list of Record Kicks fans is huge and counts folks such us Kenny Dope, Dj Andy Smith, Jazzman Gerald, Dr.Bob Jones, Craig Charles and Mark Lamarr who all wrote several RK album liner notes. In these years joined Record Kicks artists such as The Liberators, The New Mastersounds, The Diplomats of Solid Sound, The Baker Brothers, Trio Valore, Baby Charles, Kokolo Afrobeat Orchestra and even Motown’s Floyd Lawson & the Hearts of Stone who has chosen RK to release in 2011 his brand new single after 30years. Record Kicks has also reissued forgotten pearls by funk/soul legends such us Betty Wright, The Barrino Brothers, Robert Moore and Hector Rivera and is the main responsible for bringing to Italy - all for their first italian appearance - live acts such as Sharon Jones & The Dap-kings, The Boogaloo Investigators, Diplomats Of Solid Sound and more recently The Baker Brothers.

When Nick is not busy releasing records he can be found Djing literally all around the globe where he has already spotted clubs like Cargo, Pigalle, Dex in London, Roter Salon - Berlin, New York Club and Marula in Barcelona, El Junco, Katmandy and Marula club - Madrid, Unique Club - Dusseldorf, Revolver Club - Melbourne, Tonic Lounge - Sydney, Urban Jazz Groove - Bremem, La Palma – Rome, Afrodisia - Granada and many more. Record Kicks nights are responsible for the worldwide famous SoulShaker and let's BOOGALOO compilations compiled by Nick. Since 2003 he promotes and he’s dj resident at BOOGALOO Club, Milano’s premier rare groove clubnight. During these years BOOGALOO Club hosted the cream de la cream of funk & soul djs including Keb Darge, Eddie Piller, Florian Keller, dj Snowboy and many more. He’s also the head honcho behind the new HIT THE BONGO tropical clubnigt and MILANO FUNK&SOUL ALL-NIGHTER. Mr.RK has been busy buying records for the last 15 years of his life and his collection of 45s range from rare soul to deep funk, latin boogaloo, dancefloor jazz and jamaican goodies.
