NICK PRIDE & THE PIMPTONES debut album out here

RK recently welcomed to the label 6 piece jazz-funk band from Newcastle NICK PRIDE & THE PIMPTONES. The group introduced itself on RK with brilliant double-sider "Waitin' So Long" / "Lay It On The Line", out now on 45/Digital and already a radio favorite on shows such as "Popcorner" (Radio Rai 2 - ITALY), "Wicked Jazz Sounds" (Radio 6 - HOLLAND) and "Soul Food" (Jazz Radio - FRANCE). Hoping to build on that success, the band is now ready to launch its debut album "Midnight Feast Of Jazz", out worldwide on May 9th, but available NOW in advance ONLY here at RK on CD/Digital and limited edition vinyl!

"Midnight Feast Of Jazz" is a collection of 10 tracks varying from dancefloor-jazz to funky beats and straight-up soul, and underlines an evolution in the sounds of the band. From opener "Pimptroduction" to latin-influenced "Hug Lorenzo" and vocal track "Brighter Day feat. Susan Hamilton" there's no doubt that Nick Pride & The Pimptones are set to take off!
