SOULFUL TORINO RECORDS

Run by Luis and Jimmy, Record Kicks sub-label Soulful Torino Records is responsible for a number of wicked releases. The collaboration between RK and Soulful Torino began with the reissue of Hector Rivera's much saught-after latin soul hit "I Wanna Chance For Romance", considered by everyone to be one of the best latin soul tracks ever recorded and now available on an affordable 45 repress (very few left in stock don't sleep). Just as noteworthy is the object of the second RK/Soulful Torino collabo, Enzo Bontempi's original score for the ITALIAN SPIDERMAN movie, which includes top tunes "Italian Spiderman Theme" / "Bangarang" out on a tasty 45 or Digital Download.

Luis and Jimmy also produced the first single by The SOULFUL TORINO ORCHESTRA, which includes members of top Italian bands such as The Bluebeaters, Afrika Unite and Statuto. The band's first single "Soul Burger" is a shoutin R&B instrumental with a catchy bass and heavy drums, with a remix by Bolognina DJ Tib on the flip. And last but definitely not least, 2 mega rare and ultra in-demand tropical funk tracks from the late 60s by The Soul Fantastics, repressed and available on 45/Digital Download: "Funky Pluggin" / "Soul Train". Hot stuff!
